Plant Health Care

JPC Tree Care uses the most up-to-date methods to protect your trees and to maintain the soil. Investments in plant health care can pay big dividends compared to the loss of a tree.

Tree Injection

Tree injection is used to target precise application of pesticides, plant resistance activators, and fertilizers into a tree. This is done to protect the tree from pests or to provide nutrition for correction of nutrient deficiencies.

The tree’s vascular system will distribute the active compounds into the wood, canopy and roots where protection or nutrition is needed.

Tree injection is currently the most popular method for control of damaging insects in landscape tree care. It has been developed primarily for use on large size trees and in proximity of urban areas where ground and air spray applications are impractical or not allowed due to potential human exposure.

Soil Conditioning

A soil conditioner is a product which is added to soil to improve the soil’s physical qualities, especially its ability to provide nutrition for plants.

Soil conditioners can be used to improve poor soils, or to rebuild soils which have been damaged by improper soil management. They can make poor soils more usable, and can be used to maintain soils in peak condition.
